The Ontario Pontiac Club was founded in July of 2007, by Kristine Cayer and Robert Hart. The first two members met each other at a local laundromat, Kris drawn to Rob’s fully restored 1969 Firebird. The two enjoyed talking about their Pontiacs and decided that since there were no clubs dedicated to their cars, that they would go ahead and start one.  Things moved quickly from that point onward and the club held its first meet in Waterdown on July 18, 2007.

Since its inception, the club has gained 500 members, held three major shows, gained official recognition from GM Canada, and become well known on the car show scene. We hold meets, BBQs, track days, parties, and car shows. We welcome members from all walks of life and offer a supportive atmosphere for beginners. Our technical knowledge base is wide, with many mechanics and hobbyists in the group, making the OPC a great place to come to for help and advice.

In July of 2008, we hosted our first show and celebrated our first birthday. The event was a success, despite the uncooperative weather! We are confident that the 2009 event will be even better.

As a club, we welcome all Pontiac drivers and fanciers. Daily all-stock drivers are allowed to roll with the most modified wild cars! We also welcome classics, resto-mods and anything in between. No one is excluded and the OPC encourages members of all ages to join the club. With over 300 members and growing, this is definitely a club with a bright future. Feel free to join us! The OPC takes pride in keeping a clean image. We keep our forum free from bashing and other negative content. We do not, in any way, support street racing or other illegal driving activities.
